Focus on Education

Our product development and usability team observes the use of experimental apparatus in control
laboratories across several institutions. These observations are then incorporated into designing electromechanical systems and experiments which encourage engineering curiosity among students by focusing on the core fundamentals of system modeling, identification and control.

These systems are designed to be as simple as possible in order to bring clarity to important concepts, while retaining the nuances of the deeper ideas being investigated. This is achieved by removing non-essential complexity and incorporating methods to develop a thorough understanding of ideas. For instance, analog control modules are made available to encourage an intuitive grasp of the system being studied prior to starting upon the detailed stages of system identification and digital control design. These devices also serve efficient test beds and can be used to study a variety of advanced control algorithms and strategies.

This focus on education has led to our products being adopted in laboratories around the world.
